The Museum of Art – DeLand's permanent collection spans decades of thoughtful acquisitions, including paintings, sculpture, photography, ceramics, and works on paper from regional, national, and international artists.
Highlights include Mateo Blanco's Hopi Girl (2017-18, rope, 45 x 27 x 34 inches), Richard Segalman's Blue, Red + White (2009, oil on canvas, 40 ⅜ x 50 ¼ inches), Gary Erbe's Bust on a Pedestal (1982, oil on canvas, 58 x 40 inches), Purvis Young's Street Festival and Friends, Janet Siegel Rogers' Early on the River (1991, oil encaustic on canvas), Neil Welliver's Islands Allagash (1990, woodcut), Tim Ludwig's Untitled ceramic, and Gary Bukovnik's San Andreas (2008, watercolor on paper, 60 x 31 inches).
